A grand weekend

Had a pretty fantastic weekend. Friday I did homework, followed by games of pool with Ben & Chris, followed by Gamecube with Ben & Chris, then some TV. Saturday entailed getting up at noon, followed by an afternoon of homework. I actually enjoyed doing my homework because it gave me a feeling of accomplishment. I finally got stuff done. For once.

That night I ventured to "Club 14" aka 14 Russell aka "The Boys" house aka where some of the sophomore altos live for a great party. Lots of people were crammed in their house, but it made you meet a lot of people. I was able to better acquaint myself with some people who I had previously only known by face, and that's always good. After coming back to the dorm I watched the second half of I, Robot with Ben and went to sleep.

Today entailed getting up at 1:00 and doing what else but more homework. I ended the day watching the Battlestar Galactica miniseries with Ben and Darby and now a great weekend comes to a close. Tomorrow is my day that never ends. 4 classes during the day, followed by a two hour Physics lab and Boiler Brass practice late at night. Good thing I got a lot of work done over the weekend.

Here's hoping that although this semester's academics may suck, good times socially will help to lighten the load.
